Problem
Brief
I had three days to design a homepage for a mobile app that helps people find and book local tours and activities.
Elements Needed
A headline that captures the app’s value proposition
A search bar to enter destination, date, and preferences
A carousel or grid of featured activities
A call to action encouraging users to sign up
Guidelines
The target audience is young adult travelers
The app’s brand identity is fun, friendly, and adventurous
The design should be simple, clear, and consistent
The color palette should match the brand identity
Research
Having the target audience being young travelers, I wanted to add personas to my target users. I created three personas of young travelers that would use my app. Identifying their goals and frustrations would later on allow me to add features and designs that would create a more seamless user experience.
